Hi my name is Chrissy. I am a Colorado native. I worked in the financial world for 13 years and after getting laid off I decided to apply to be a care specialist. During training, they stated , "you will fall in love with this community". What they didn't say was how rewarding this job would be. I consider everyone I have cared for, a gift. I have been a personal/private caregiver for the last 7 years I am caring, compassionate and loving. I love to cook, run errands, play games or just watch TV with my clients. You will find me very personable and reliable. My talent is multi tasking.

I'm applying to specifically work with Linda Beck. We've known each other for 6+ years. I'm compassionate, patient, hardworking, and honest. I believe in the Golden rule of treating others the way I would want to be treated. I have a soft spot for children and elderly and have a lot of personal, home, and family experience in caregiving for family (I have 7 children) members, but also others I am not blood related to. I have had and continue to have opportunities to serve elderly people within my church family and congregation, running errands and helping with basic household chores, activities of daily living, and helping with transportation to appointments and church or other social activities. I'm most proud of the family and friend relationships I have. I have used the mindset that, "No success can compensate for failure in the home," as the motivation for much of what I do daily. I am a natural nurturer and caregiver for my aging mother of 83+ years when she visits for vacation several months each summer. I strive to make a difference in the lives of others and pattern as much of my life as possible after principles and teachings from the Bible.
